Cary Grant was remarkably reluctant to admit his real age... one day in the 1970s, a reporter, charged with writing an article about his film career, came up with a novel idea.. instead of idle speculation he would ask the man himself.... so, forthwith, he sent off a telegram (remember those?)... it read..
"HOW OLD CARY GRANT? STOP"
A day later the reply came from the man himself...
"OLD CARY GRANT FINE STOP HOW YOU?"
